What is Unity?
Spiritual seekers often say finding Unity is like coming home. Unity is an open-minded, accepting spiritual community that honors all paths to God. We help people discover and live their spiritual potential and purpose, in a loving nurturing environment. Unity Manhattan wants to welcome you to share your spiritual path with us. Join us in affirming the power of prayer and strengthen your connection with God.
We promise to have a positive uplifting message every Sunday. You can come and just listen to the message, or you can become a part of our community, we welcome and accept everyone. Come home to Unity Manhattan and let your true self, your divine nature, come out and shine.

Unity is a positive path for spiritual living.
Unity is more than a doctrine, it is an attitude, a way of life, and a philosophy. Unity is practical Christianity; it is a unique eternal Truth that every person seeks. Unity is a dynamic teaching to study, a presentation of living principles to practice. Unity Manhattan seeks to teach through Sunday service, classes, book studies, and connecting with fellow members, so that you can realize God in your life. The Unity teachings will show you how you can be happy, loving, and prosperous. You are the light of the world, sent here to shine brightly. Join us for a Sunday service, or a discussion group, you will be glad you did.
One God, Many Paths.
"...and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these."- Mark 12:28-31
The five basic ideas that make up the Unity belief system are:
1) God is the source and creator of all. There is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.
2) We are spiritual beings, created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently good.
3) We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.
4) There is power in affirmative prayer, which we believe increases our connection to God.
5) Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough. We must live them. We believe this spiritual understanding is enhanced through reflective prayer and meditation.
